That is the practice I set out to build.
Why I Started Mary Bacon Injury Law
Before opening my firm, I spent more than a decade litigating complex cases involving insurers and businesses throughout Nevada, including insurance bad-faith matters.
My work required me to evaluate claims, analyze liability, negotiate disputes, write motions, take depositions, and prepare cases for trial. I learned how insurers assess medical evidence and litigation risk, and how thorough investigation, careful analysis, and persuasive advocacy can influence the outcome of a case.
I also saw what can happen when an injured person's story is not fully developed. Important evidence may be overlooked, lasting injuries underestimated, and decisions made before the future is reasonably understood.
I founded Mary Bacon Injury Law to bring that same rigor and strategic judgment to the representation of injured individuals and families.

Las Vegas has always been home.
I grew up here as one of six children in a family that still calls Southern Nevada home. After earning my undergraduate degree from UCLA and my law degree from USC Gould School of Law, I returned to build my career and remain close to the people and community that shaped me. My roots here are an important part of why I built this firm in Las Vegas, and why serving this community is personal to me.
My Philosophy
I do not believe every accident requires a lawyer, every case should settle quickly, or clients should be pressured into decisions they do not understand.
Good legal advice starts with honesty. Sometimes that means telling someone they do not need an attorney. Sometimes it means recommending patience while the evidence develops. Sometimes it means litigating because that is what the case requires.
My responsibility is to help you understand your options, make informed decisions, and know that your case is receiving the attention it deserves.
Beyond the Courtroom
Serving our community has always been important to me. That's why I've made time to volunteer with organizations such as the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Bar Association, participate in Leadership Las Vegas, and sit on the Board of Children's Advocacy Alliance. I believe serving this community means more than simply practicing law here.
